C&D Production

What a HAND!

Every now and then one of our guys demonstrates, through his actions, the personal commitment and responsibility we think a great hand should incorporate in their daily work. The latest C&D Production Specialist employee to demonstrate these wonderful qualities is Bobby White, who works out of our Pennsylvania office.

Bobby was thinking about a well that was producing sand and cutting out chokes. He was checking on the well, online, in the evening well after his shift was over and noticed it was offline, again. Bobby decided to check out the well in person. When he arrived on location, the production unit that services the well in question and another well was on fire. Bobby went to the wellheads and shut in both wells. This caused the fire at the production unit to go out. He surveyed the damage and called his supervisor. Bobby was instructed to isolate the production unit from the pipeline and then blow down the units to purge the gas and also blow down the water lines in order to keep the units from freezing solid with no heaters.

Bobby White was recognized, by both our customer and C&D Production Specialist, for his outstanding effort in mitigating any further damage that evening. Congratulations, Bobby and keep up the GREAT work!

Tailgating for Safety in TX!

Dee Thomas, Branch Manager for C&D Productions Specialist in our Ft. Worth office conducts a tailgate meeting with some drivers. Dee was invited by one of our customers to cover the issue of texting while driving. As Dee puts it, "Not texting while operating company vehicles, is a topic that can never get old!"

Way to keep them safe out there, guys.

Snyder Wins Goalie Award!

Denny Snyder on the job

CONGRATULATIONS, DENNY SNYDER!

Denny Snyder, C&D Production Operator working for Shell at the Kansas (Arrowhead) Operations is one of the December winners of the "Shell Goalie Award."

Denny identified third party workers on Shell lease conducting hot work 25 feet from production tanks. He intervened, had a discussion and requested that the workers stay 75 feet from the tanks. Denny has been conscientious in identifying and sending in near misses and observations and now his alertness and safe work has paid off.

C & D Production would like to congratulate Denny Snyder for his intervention and for being a great example of a quality employee.
